Ira Goodman

Welcome to my blog.  My name is Ira Goodman.

I was born and grew up in the boroughs of New York City, but I now live with my wife and twin flame, Roz from Johannesburg, South Africa. 

I have been a teacher of children with special needs.  But most of my career was conducting market research for various corporations.

Around 1993, my wife and I stepped into the world of Multi-level Marketing.  We have been with a variety of opportunities, learned a lot and won lots of incentives.

Through the years, I have come to recognize that many of us have the desire to do well in our own businesses.  Some succeed.  But as we know, at least 95% of network marketers do not achieve their goals and fulfill their dreams.

There are many reasons for this.  For example, when I came into network marketing, I had never been involved in doing sales.  In fact, I was pretty much of a recluse and preferred to allow my wife to speak with prospects.  Closing sales was a very special skill that we had to learn.  I had to learn these skills to be successful.

Next was the frustration with signing up prospects who would repeat what we learned to do in terms of contacting prospects, following up with them and closing the sales.  Probably 95% of people who get involved with an opportunity do virtually nothing.

My greatest desire is to educate people how they can be successful and achieve their dreams.  That is what this blog is dedicated to.

I will provide information about practices that we have found effective in marketing ourselves.

I will include tools and how to use them.  Most often these tools will be free to use.
